"Fantastic"

Fantastic stay at The Attic, the property was very well presented, with everything you would need and more. Great welcome pack for the humans and our dog, great touch. Julia’s correspondence before our stay was excellent, she was open for us to contact herself or her husband Calum during our stay if we should need anything. 30 seconds walk to the harbour of Portpatrick which is very picturesque. My son and I played golf at Portpatrick Dunskey Golf Club with the whole staff very accommodating, my wife and dog Barney took in the fantastic walks around the area. Will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend The Attic for a cosy and comfortable stay. Well done Julia and Calum.

"Gorgeous flat"

Gorgeous flat in a great location, so close to the harbour and local bars & restaurants. The rooms were a great size, couch and bed were really comfy and kitchen was well equipped. Self check in was super convenient, and the log burner was a dream on a wild night! Can't recommend highly enough, we will definitely be back!

"Spotlessly clean & deceptively large"

We loved our stay at The Attic..spotlessly clean, great location in the centre of the village, well appointed with modern appliances. Beds were very comfy. Its deceptively large, plenty room for 4 of us & 2 small dogs..we enjoyed our welcome pack which included easter eggs & sweets for kids, wine for the adults & treats for the dogs. Dogs are very well catered for with throws, towels & bowls all provided & great walks to be had from your doorstep. Our host Julia messaged us prior to our visit to advise that we could check in earlier & check out later which was appreciated. She also kindly arranged to post a clothing item back to us that we left behind. We would happily return here & recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing, dog friendly break in this beautiful part of the world.

"Spacious, warm and comfortable"

Super place in a great village. The flat is spacious , warm and comfortable - a very nice place to be, right in the heart of the village and a stone’s throw from the coast. Julia and Calum have made the place feel like a home from home and all the local bars and shops are very welcoming. Hope to be back again one day soon. Many thanks and will be recommending a stay to family and friends.

"Very homely"

It was very homely, loved the log fire , cosy, kitchen was well equipped, beds comfortable. Everything was there for the dog 🐶 towels , throws , bowls and a fantastic welcome pack.

"Superb time had"

Lovely, comfortable accommodation with attention to detail. Ideally situated for bars/restaurants and lovely walks. Beach front is just around the corner and the views are stunning. Portpatrick is a beautiful part of Scotland and the Attic and Portpatrick are superbly partnered. Calum & Julia (and their beautiful faithful dog 'Blue') excelled themselves as hosts and nothing was too much trouble, We had a brilliant time with friends and will most definitely be back. Well done Julia & Calum!

"Enjoyed our stay and would return"

Everything we needed was supplied. It is a very well appointed accommodation located 2 minutes from the front. Hosts Julia & Callum have made an enormous effort with all the nautical themes in each room. Enjoyed our stay and would return. 10/10

The Attic is a spacious, calm and comfortable flat a stone's throw from Portpatrick Beach. Lovely welcome from friendly hosts Calum and Julia, comfy beds and furnishings make for a super relaxing stay.
